Today we had our Year 2 Maths Cafe.
We began by letting the children be the experts. They taught their parents how to solve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They used different methods including; chips and peas, arrays and groups.
After this, we made multiplication flowers. The children chose a times table that they felt they needed more practise with. These can now be used at home.

this was an enjoyable morning, now I know what I am doing with math at home!
